Coldstones cut and Eagle Hall

A fantastic route that takes you to the skyline on the southern side of Pateley Bridge.

Starting with a long climb over varied terrain the route leads to the highest point at Coldstones Cut where, weather permitting, you have excellent 360 degree long distance views. From the Cut, the route then follows the quarry perimeter to a tarmac road down towards the Lead Mines.

Bishopside trig point

One of our three local trig points, the Bishopside Trig is perhaps the least visited. Tucked away behind Cuckoo Woods on the northern side of Pateley Bridge the trig offers tremendous views over open moorland and beyond
